  • Notes: This newspaper extra trumpets Jackson''s victories in the early election returns, as reported by the Jackson Central Committee of Maryland, and using a riot of different headline typefaces: "All Hail New York . . . All Hail, Maine . . . Well done, New Hampshire . . . All hail, Ohio!" Balloting concluded three days later, and the Electoral College sealed Jackson''s victory on 3 December. No other copies traced.
