First collected edition, folio, engraved allegorical title page by William Hole featuring figures representing elements of theater arts; lacking initial blank; last three signatures with bottom margins extended, supplied from another copy; bound in full contemporary speckled calf, joints worn, back board becoming detached, endleaves renewed with a sympathetic paper; housed in full dark blue morocco chamois-lined case by R. Wallis, with presentation tooling in gilt on outside of case from 1918 when this volume was presented to Walter Hines Page by the American Luncheon Club in London; ex libris Dulcibella Kent (1711-1793), with her signature dated 1734 at the head of the title; some water staining to contents, 10 3/4 x 7 in.
