LUCIAN BERNHARD (1883-1972) AMOCO.

Condition A. Framed.
Having moved to the United States in 1925, Bernhard worked extensively in typography for the American Type Founders company. He also continued to do a lot of advertising work in which he, essentially, provided the services of a typographer. Post World War II examples of his corporate typographic posters include Rem (cough drops), Pepsi and Amoco, for whom he redesigned their logo and then created posters with a number of variants.
