An enthusiastic hunter, Hohlwein would have been the natural choice for this film company. The watercolor-style image of a brown dog sitting amid brown branches ambiguously designed to look like antlers, is a classic Hohlwein rendering of a hunting dog. The gothic lettering was likely added by another hand.The movie "The Hunter''s Year" is advertised here as being presented in ten parts. Stuttgart 207, Frenzel pl. 154.
