Milton Glaser 1929 Big Nudes. 1967 24.5 x 37 inches. Condition A. Milton Glaser is one of the preeminent contemporary American graphic designers. One of the founders of the influential Push Pin Studio, he did work in a variety of artistic venues for major clients all over the world. Co-chairman of the Aspen Design Conference, he also taught for a year at the School of Visual Arts in NYC, for which he designed this poster. With the possible exception of his famous Bob Dylan poster, this poster advertising an exhibition of paintings of large nudes is, as Glaser himself said, "my best known work. The graphic idea expressed in the poster was to show a nude so large that it couldnt fit on the page, extending therefore into the space behind." ref. Milton Glaser Graphic Design, The Overlook Press, New York, 1973 p. 128-129, no. 125
