Shortly after graduating from the Tokyo College of Education, Katsui opened his studio and worked on major official projects such as the Japan World Exhibition (Osaka 1970) and the Science and Technology Exhibition (Tsukuba 1985). He was a pioneer in the field of computer-manipulated images and has also mastered this field he helped to create. His sophisticated skills are demonstrated here.
