Otto Treumann 1919 Jaarbeurs Utrecht. 1949 38.75 x 271.5 inches. Condition B+: wrinkles and creases in image,. tape on verso. Paper. Amaster in the use of experimental printing techniques, Treumann has created a Surrealistic yet geometric composition for this poster advertising the Utrecht Industrial Fair. Against a gradated background, Treumann depicts an emblematic door, whose shadow forms the logo of the Fair, through which is seen a floating, geometric evocation of factories. This very sophisticated image was certainly a success as Treumann was asked to design the poster for the fair the following year, in 1950 ref.
