Washington, 12 March 1924 [from postmark] • Millard Fillmore. Partly-printed Letter Signed, to J.H. Whitehurst, reporting that he has been awarded an Exhibitor's Medal for the daguerreotypes of the Niagara Falls he displayed at the 1851 Works of all Nations exhibition in London. Additionally signed by Executive Committee Chairman Peter Force. 1 page, 4to, "Executive Mansion" stationery; mounted to board trimmed to size, moderate scattered dampstaining, moderate even toning overall.
