- Notes: "I guess you will think I am a fool not knowing your first name, but as you are an Indian one is enough. I am more than sorry to have to brake [sic] our engagement for monday night, but as I had a previous engagement with Mr. MaCay which I had forgotten and he has bought two of my pictures and is coming after me to have dinner with him in Jersey I can't verry well brake away. So when you and Crofard are having a good time think of me."
