Talks about her mother's flower bed and a new coat. She continues the letter in the evening writing that she took a history test, tells him that a package to him was returned to her, then gets jealous about his ex- girlfriend Maryann. She reminds him that she had asked him to send hermarijuana, but warns him not to get caught. Tells him they are study- ing narcotic addiction in sociology, and it makes her a bit nervous because she experienced it.
