Questions him on whether he got his money, and his health, concerned that he has not written. Writes about her poet friend John Coyle, and about a photography project in her art class. Talks about her mother's flower bed and a new coat. She continues the letter in the evening writing that she took a history test, tells him that a package to him was returned to her, then gets jealous about his ex- girlfriend Maryann. She reminds him that she had asked him to send hermarijuana, but warns him not to get caught. Tells him they are study- ing narcotic addiction in sociology, and it makes her a bit nervous because she experienced it. She tells him that she has been correctingthe teacher on every-thing, but agrees with him that marijuana is a stepping stone to dangerous drugs. 28 October. 4 pages on 2 sheets. Inresponse to something he wrote, she starts with a message in Cyrillic at the start and end of the letter. She describes more items for her hope chest and tells him that she is changing her major, probably to sociology, and talks some more about studying addiction in her sociology class, writing that she was scared that students would realize why she knew so much about the topic, until one asked her if she was a sociology major.
