Includes a 2-part panorama of Victoria Peak in Hong Kong and another of Canton, Panorama of Shameen; beautiful portraits of Mandarins and actors in full costume; scenes of Hong Kong, including the harbor, public gardens, and landmark buildings (including the Clock Tower); the execution ground in Canton, a Chinese woman's unbound foot; and topographic and city views of Rangoon, including elephants at work, and more. Albumen prints, 7 1/2x9 3/4 to 8 1/2x10 1/2 inches (19.1x24.8 to 21.2x26.7 cm), most with a lengthy printed caption inserted into corners; one with a Woodbury and Page blind stamp. Large square 4to, gilt-ruled black leather. 1870s-80s
