Silver prints, 7 1/2x9 1/2 inches (19x24.1 cm.) and slightly smaller, with a credit and numeric notation in an unidentified hand and some with hand stamps on verso. 1940s; printed late 1950s-60s
- Notes: Charles Fenno Jacobs was one of a handful of talented young photographers recruited by Edward Steichen to join the Naval Aviation Photographic Unit shortly after the United States entered World War II. After the war, he was assigned to cover Europe by "Fortune."
