  • Notes: Stephen Higginson Tyng, Jr. (1839-1898) was only 15 years old when he edited this little newspaper, having been moved by the question of slavery and its expansion by the proposed Nebraska Bill. He later attended Williams College in 1858, was ordained in 1861, and served as chaplain for the 12th New York Volunteers from 1864. No copy located by OCLC.
