light wear to the edges; chips at top where
these posters were hung; some small stains
at the edges as well; overall good condition.

The U.S. National Student Association
worked to gain support for those families in
Mississippi whose breadwinners had lost jobs
after registering to vote. These posters were for
several events around Thanksgiving 1964,
including a “Fast for Freedom,” and fund rais-
ing on numerous campuses across the country.
A later investigation proved that the CIA an
NSA had investigated and infiltrated this and
other student groups.
