A rare program and directory for the Ebenezer Baptist Church, and its parishioners from the
Sunday that Martin Luther King Jr’s mother Alberta Williams King (1904-1974) was assas-
sinated, shot dead while playing the organ. Her assassin was a 23 year-old black man named
Marcus Wayne Chenault, who stated that he shot Mrs.King because “all Christians are my
enemies.” The last two pages of the program, a directory of the parishioners with their names
and addresses, has been annotated by another parishioner indicating that most of them had
passed away since

The first booklet, “The Practice of Klanishness, Imperial Instruction Document No. 1 AK,
LII.” Is a sdet of “instructions” for members of the so-called New Klan. The second gives a
short history of the “old” Klan from Reconstruction onward and explains how and why the
new Klan was formed. The third, and the only one here not written by Wizard Simmons, is a
set of Klan principals.
