[600/800]
A highly unusual photographic transfer of a black soldier printed on a piece of cotton. Things
like this were available to soldiers and sailors at the various training camps. One would have
their picture taken and then it could be applied to a number of different things that could be
sent home to one’s wife and family or a girl friend.
