issued in 2-piece pictorial board box (chipped and worn, with few crude tape repairs and

one side of the lid detached); scattered light foxing on the engravings.

ing. In the first edition the constellations were shown on a blank background; in the second,

surrounding stars were added. The cards were intended to be viewed with backlighting to accen-
