Her Kisses were Death Traps.” “Whispering
Tales,” starred Laura Bowman, Walter Mosley,
and Alfred “Slick” Chester and might have
been a re-titling of “Bondage”, a 1932 Milton
Frackman movie. This is based on a review
describing a movie titled “Bondage” that coin-
cidentally also starred Laura Bowman and
Slick Chester. Not in the Edward Mapp collec-
tion nor John Kisch and Edward Mapp’s
excellent reference “Separate Cinema.” There
is also the possibility that this was never
released under this title.
