ENTIRELY ENGRAVED THROUGHOUT

and printed on rectos only. Folio, 315x189 mm, contemporary gilt-panelled calf, quite

worn, rebacked with cloth, white ink shelf number on spine, hinges reinforced with cloth

tape; occasional offsetting or show-through from the engraved matter, scattered foxing,

bookplate removed from front pastedown. Stamp of University of Chicago Libraries on

title verso (exchange to John Crerar Library) and ink accession number on facing page.

lacking; varying foxing or browning, marginal dampstaining through much of volume,

blank lower portion of half-title excised.
