Comprised of images of the Gates of Hell; Satan, dressed as a king; a regata on the River Styx; a skeleton army riding into battle; Madame Satan's boudoir; and other scenes from the Inferno. Albumen prints, pinpricked to show color, in pink mounts, the images measuring approximately overall 3½x7 inches (8.3x17.8 cm.), and slightly larger, each with a caption, in the negative, and a hand-colored sheet of tissue, on verso. 1860s-70s
