2025 was yet another year filled with big sales and unique items for Swann. Single-owner collection included February’s Abstract Beauty: The Patricia Scipio-Brim Collection, the April auction of Art Deco at 100: William Crouse Collection, and the Reba W. & Dave H. Williams Collection of Color Woodcuts sold in April and October. Stand-out lots included autograph letters signed by George Washington and American Revolution material throughout our Books & Manuscripts offerings, anticipating America’s 250th birthday. Fine Photographs and Fine Art featured strong results for women practitioners, including works by Clara Etso Ugbodaga-Ngu, Berenice Abbott, Blanche Lazzell, Alma Thomas, and more.
