Departments:
Lisa Crescenzo joined the Prints & Drawings Department at Swann Galleries in the summer of 2014. Her primary role is to assist with incoming consignments for the seven annual department sales as well as large overseas collections and estates. She also advises potential buyers as they enhance their collections.
In spring 2016, she played an instrumental role in the discovery of an 1869 Sanford Robinson Gifford painting titled Study of the Parthenon, that fetched $269,000, over eight times its high estimate.
She has a strong appreciation for other forms of visual arts, including contemporary dance. Her interest in food and cooking has led her to start a small collection of antique kitchen tools. Lisa is graduate of Union College, and holds a BA in Art History and a minor in Studio Arts. Her favorite artistic period is early Twentieth Century American Modernism.
