Meagan Gandolfo joined Swann Galleries in 2019. Her primary role as Cataloguer is to research and catalogue works of art as well as contribute original writing and editing to catalogues for the Prints & Drawings department's seven annual sales.
When not at Swann, Meagan enjoys reading and doing crosswords alongside her dog and a cup of tea. She is an avid kombucha brewer and also infuses liquor to create new cocktails and seasonal flavors. She spends time on the weekends exploring newfound restaurants, bars, and parks in her neighborhood.
Meagan received her BA from Adelphi University with a double major in Art History and International Studies with a focus on Political Science. She holds an MA from Christie's Education in the History of Art and the Art Market. Her MA thesis interpreted the Surrealist movement through a feminist lens using themes and icons from Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland. She holds a certificate in Appraisal Studies in Fine and Decorative Art from New York University's School of Professional Studies.
