A very confusing directory indeed. The pagination is altogether erratic, beginning with a long
list of Browns, and the ‘A’s following later; section printed on tinted paper do not make sense
given the page numbering. Despite the defects in editing and organization, this is still an
important Wartime directory, sponsored by the Kansas City Negro Chamber of Commerce.
